Did I start a blog you ask? Well, my main reason for entering the vast world of blogging is solely to keep everyone updated on what our precious Emma has been up to! She is very busy for a 19mo old, & I hate to admit that Chris & I are not very good at keeping our friends & families updated.
With that being said, let's move on to the good stuff. Our daughter Emma, has recently gotten involved in amature modeling thanks to me~I am a portrait photographer & to gain expierence when I first founded HWG PHOTOGRAPHY, I would take many, many "portrait" style photos of Emma. After a few weeks of practicing my talents on "m&m" (Emma), I got an email from A Mother's Touch Boutique asking if Emma would be interested in modeling for her. Of course I was flattered, as any mother would be, & I quickly accepted...& so Emma's "modeling" career was born. The more photos I posted of her modeling for AMT, the more emails I recieved from different boutiques asking if she would be interested in modeling for them as well. I loved the arrangement-the boutiques send us the items they want modeled, I take the photos myself, & proceed to send them high-quality, professional snapshots in return.
After about 6 months of "boutique modeling", I decided to take Emma's career one step further-I submitted her photos to http://www.goomamodels.com/ in hopes of gaining more exposure. To my surprise, she was accepted & is still a current ((& very proud)) Gooma Girl. We have been so pleased w/their services & highly reccomend them to anyone who wants to get their son/daughter involved in modeling. Infact, we just accepted an offer to shoot for http://www.mimibibnewyork.com/ through Gooma Models-I cannot express how tickled I am about this!

We are busy doing shoots on a regular basis now, which is very exciting to announce. Since August is fast approaching, m&m & I are preparing for the upcoming holiday season-which is always busy. & believe it or not, we have encountered some criticism...Oh well, I guess criticism is just apart of life~I take it with a grain of sand b/c Emma continues to book jobs & the compliments are far more vast than the insults- & those who know our strong-willed m&m, even if she did understand what criticism was, she wouldn't care less, she's adorable & she knows it =)
Anyways~We have only been in the "business" for 8mos now, but Emma & I both have quickly adjusted our talents to the demands, & from what I can tell, she is having just as much fun as I am....although I am living vicariously through her for the time being-lol. Once Emma is old enough, if she decides that modeling isn't something that she's interested in I am perfectly ok with ending her career. Afterall, an unhappy model makes for very unhappy clients.
